So, with the imminent release of Assassins Creed you must be all thinking about exactly what sort of cheats you would like to see
Head over to the forum to discuss exactly what cheats you would like to see, walkthroughs etc
God mode? Infinite Ammo? Higher jump? (yes please!) Which will be in there?
I have decided to write an article which will go through some of the bigger complaints about Assassin’s Creed. I’ve argued all of these points repeatedly, and want to do it one last time, onto the rant argument!
The Combat System
Okay there was a GIANT debate about this system on the forums a while ago, I thought it was as idiotic back then as I do now.
The combat system was described by a few on the forums as being “Too easy looking” by some and “Too complicated” by others. Though most of the professional opinion and even amateur opinion says otherwise anyways, I’ll focus on that. Those who play and review video games for a living have complimented this game to no end. Including the creator of MGS, Hideo Kojima himself. Anyways, heres some quotes I’ve gathered up which talk about the combat system and their opinions: More
SAN FRANCISCO - October 25, 2007 - Today Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, announced its highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed(TM) video game has gone “gold” and is set to launch in North America on November 13, 2007.
The title is one of the most anticipated games for the holiday season, arriving on the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft at the MSRP of $59.99 with the Limited Edition priced at $69.99 - rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB. We’ve been working very hard for nearly four years to make Assassin’s Creed a reality and now there is a confirmed date when players will get to experience the results of our efforts,” shared Jade Raymond, producer of Assassin’s Creed. “This is a huge event for the team. Our biggest reward will be everyone having a lot of good solid fun.”
360 owners will be happy to know that Acieve360Points.com has released Assassin’s Creed’s Achievements :D. They can be found here: Click There’s the normal Live for so Long, and Kill this many enemies and all the collectible stuff. But there is one that will catch your attention, skip to the next paragraph if you don’t want to know… Do it. The Conversationalist, number 13. You get this achievement for using all the dialog options with Lucy. Who’s Lucy? I dunno, but from the look of the picture, she ain’t from the Third Crusade. Yay futuristic elements
IGN Australia has been interrogating Patrice again, with little success. Well, he get’s a few cool things, but Patrice still isn’t letting any of the aforementioned Futuristic elements out of his mouth. Oh wait, you wanna read it? There you go: Click
That’s all for now, be sure to check out the pics that also come with the interview
As you may have already noticed, a forum has been added to AssassinsCreedblog.com
As of yet the forum is online, although not completely finished
Please feel free to head on over there and say hi, its getting a bit lonely
Yesterday Ubisoft announced details on its musical score.
We are all eagerly awaiting next month, counting down the days until Assassin’s Creed arrives on our door steps. Either to shove straight into your PS3 or 360, whichever way you are more inclined. However, what you probably haven’t thought about is the musical score. You might be thinking, who cares about the music, the graphics are lush, I can swan dive off a parapet, what more do I want. Well. Try watching a horror film with the sound off, or Gladiator with the theme tune to the Poddington Peas playing and you’ll get some idea of how important music really is.
The music will be handled by British Academy Award Winner, Jesper Kyd.
Most famous for working on the Hitman and Splinter Cell series’. His musical contribution to Assassin’s Creed has been described by Jade as a “fusion of both traditional and medieval instruments with modern synth sounds”

Now as long and interesting that last article was to read, all its probably managed to do is make you just as jittery and excited as I am, so how about I dumb down on the excitement and bore you to death with a small look at the Changes AC is going through, which I’ll probably extend in a future blog.
What we need to do for this is to look at the two William assassinations, the X06 one, and the new, improved one that came out earlier this week. First we may as well note the umpteen million additions to the game… More
IGN is on a roll lately, with all the previews and horses and kingdoms. They don’t seem to want to stop either, since they released their latest video today: Cathedral Chase. It starts off nicely enough, Altair just gently pushing people aside. But he then just randomly stabs a guard, before running around the city and jumping on a Cathedral. This shows, in my opinion, THE best parkour footage that I’ve ever seen from Assassin’s Creed.
I think I’ve held you up enough though, so… sink your teeth into this: IGN presents, the Cathedral Chase
Ubisoft Recently Officially Announced that they were looking to also make a Nintendo DS version of our most loved game.
Online retailers have hinted at the idea back in there listings since June, but it all looks set to definately happen now.
I am unsure exactly how it is going to work. To be honest, in my opinion there is no way that the game could convert well to DS. Graphics? The Massive Cities? Its impossible, Surely? Maybe it will be something like the Prince of Persia you see on mobile phones.
According to Nintendo you can expect the release date to be mid February, Just after the PC’s launch of the game.
